Hello! It's Saturday, December 7. We're covering the PMDG 777 Freighter release, a MSFS Dev Stream recap, and FSElite's review of MSFS 2024. New to Radio Check? Subscribe here.
The freighter version of the 777 airliner, the F model is based on the 200LR variant and includes a range of cargo-specific features. PMDG is still working on 2024 compatibility for their products and owners will receive a free upgrade when a version for the new sim is available.
The stream touches on the launch issues, reviews upcoming patches and updates, and reviews the most-voted on bugs and wish list features. Jorg announced 4 new free aircraft as a "make good" for the initial issues.
After two weeks with the new sim, Daan from FSElite provides initial thoughts with a primary focus on the launch issues and design philosophy. The main point throughout is that the sim needed more time before release.
The default keyboard bindings in 2024 are significantly changed from previous sims (no more "B" key to set the altimeter!) Check out these two handy guides on what's changed and what's new.

The 330Neo from ToLiss is the latest in their Airbus series and includes several new features for situational awareness and ease of use which are well implemented in the sim version. The primary complaints in the review are with cockpit and cabin lighting and the included sounds.
