Initial 2023 Event Schedule
|
The event kicks off on Friday, June 23 with a series of educational seminars and developer announcements in the afternoon. Later on Friday, all attendees are invited to join a welcome reception and social event featuring light fare and a free drink. Friday takes place at DoubleTree Houston Hobby; there are no exhibits or museum access on Friday.
On June 24 and 25, the event shifts to the Lone Star Flight Museum, a 130,000 sq. ft. air-conditioned museum located on Ellington Airport (EFD), about a 15-minute drive from the DoubleTree. Saturday and Sunday feature hands-on exhibits and two rooms of how-to sessions, educational discussions, and announcements from flight sim's biggest developers.

We've negotiated significant hotel discounts for attendees. If you're attending on Friday, we recommend booking at DoubleTree Houston Hobby because all events happen there. Rooms at the DoubleTree are $109 per night plus tax. If you're not attending Friday or have your own transportation, rooms are available at the nearby Marriott for $89 plus tax.
Attendees can also save up to 10% off flights from Delta Air Lines. We're working on more airline discounts and rideshare/car rental discounts for travel to and from the Lone Star—more on that when registration opens.

Attendee registration for FlightSimExpo opens in December, with the same initial pricing since 2018: just $50 for 3-day event access! To snag this special price, you'll need to be a (free) FSA member. Join FSA today, then look for an email for your access to special pricing later this year.
