The results of the inaugural Flight Sim Awards are in! Presented live at the FSWeekend Captain's Dinner, FSElite has the entire list of winners.

Hot on the heels of SU1 and WU19, the MSFS team presented information about upcoming plans and answered community questions. The next major update, SU2, is planned to enter beta testing very soon - possibly as early as next week.

Live at FSWeekend, WinWing just announced several new entries into their civilian flight simulation hardware line:

  • A metal Airbus throttle quadrant priced at $128
  • A metal Airbus control panel with flaps and spoilers priced at $108
  • A Boeing-style MCP now with a magnetic switch priced at $199
  • The Cyber Taurus force feedback base priced at $415
  • Force feedback rudder pedals priced at $800
  • A Boeing-style force feedback yoke, price to be announced

Along with MSFS 2024 compatibility the new version includes a host of new features such as a custom UNS-1 FMS and overhauled EFB. V2 is free for existing owners while others can save 28% for 28 days from release.

Formerly of Honeycomb Aeronautical, Nicki has announced a new flight simulation hardware company. Their first suite of products will be announced from FSWeekend on March 16th.

Long-rumored to be in development, the new map from Ugra Media is set in 1980's Germany at the height of the Cold War. The initial release will focus on the core of Germany with future updates expanding to surrounding countries and regions.

The popular camera management add-on from FSX and Prepar3D is back, with a catch. The initial release is only for members of Club 42, simmers who have purchased at least $42 worth of products from Parallel 42.
