RAAS is widely used in real-world operations, so its arrival in SayIntentions.AI marks another important step as the platform continues expanding beyond voice ATC into tools that support broader situational awareness in the sim.

Editorial: Introducing SimAtlas

SimAtlas, the first subscription service for MSFS payware add-ons (that we know of), launched yesterday (December 5, 2025).

For a promotional rate of $12/month for the first two months, and $16/month thereafter, subscribers can access a library of more than 100 payware add-ons, representing over $1,400 in total retail value.

Not everyone loves subscription products. Addressing community concerns, SimAtlas' launch press release emphasized that their project is not an effort to take away traditional, one-time purchases of add-ons: "All included products remain available for one time purchase through existing channels, exactly as before. We’re simply introducing a new choice: one that we believe many simmers may find valuable.”

The SimAtlas team has plenty of experience in the flight sim community, having been to FlightSimExpo (as attendees) on previous occasions.

We'd love to hear your thoughts! Send us a quick reply (2 sentences max, please!) with your reaction to this new "Netflix for flight sim scenery".
