This is the first time in the franchise's 40-year history that Playstation users will be able to join the journey. Release is planned for December 8th, with both a closed beta and an early access period ahead of time.

The Super 27 expansion replicates late 80s and 90s retrofits of the 727 with modern EFIS, VNAV, and a moving map. FSS also provided an update on their other products like the Tecnam and E-Jets series.

In the statement, the Cross the Pond planning team stated they are taking a "temporary break" to review how the event is managed and ensure a better experience for divisions, pilots, and "very importantly", controllers. They plan to return in Q1 of 2026 for the next edition of Cross the Pond.

After a successful test of the early access model for flight sim, version 1.0 of the Aerostar brings an RNAV module, engine heaters, and a range of bug fixes. A 2020 version is in development in parallel to other updates for 2024.
