Following recent rumors that they were involved with Boeing's new Virtual Airplane Procedures Trainer, PMDG founder Robert Randazzo confirmed that they had contributed to the product. He also stated they expect to release the 737-800 for MSFS 2024 before the end of the year.

The revised subscription price of $18.95 a month follows the previously announced price increase to $23.95. The team attributes the lower price to a "newly negotiated large scale vendor agreement" that reduced their costs. The new price is effective immediately for new and existing users.
